How To Create a New Custom Page in Microsoft Word

Custom Paper allows the designer to select from a range of different paper qualities. The quality and type of paper is determined by specifications that are input when designing the page. These are the values for the paper’s density and weight, thread count, surface texture, fiber content, and surface texture. After the designer has chosen the paper quality they can specify the size for each of the four principal areas: background, border text, border images.

The Layout and Visualization dialog box provides two options for customizing paper size and weight. Some older computers may not be compatible with the latest drivers for printers. In these instances the user might need to install the right driver before printing a document. First, ensure that the correct driver for your device is installed on your computer. Then download and install the free Print Driver Software. Follow the steps on screen to install the software. Next, make use of the driver software for updating the printer drivers.

Once the Print Driver Software is installed, the user should select custom paper sizes from the Print menu. The user will be given the option of selecting four custom sizes: Courier, Arial, Glass Lettering and Roman. You can change the size of the pages using the buttons.
